THE ULTIMATE TEST

The bad times are to teach us but the good times are always to test us that we keep our morals.

The ultimate test is to give us fame and fortune.

We are tested to see whether we retain our morals or do we get intoxicated with power.

If we get intoxicated with fame and fortune then we feel that we do not have to be modest or decent; that we can break all morals; that we can become cruel, inconsiderate and non-caring. But we will also lose all sense of peace. We will feel a hypocrisy within us that has to be maintained at a great cost.

We can say we passed the test of wealth and fame when:

  • We remain the way we were before we had fame and fortune.
  • We did not become arrogant, selfish and cruel.
  • We retained our faith and spiritual foundation.
  • We retained our physical and mental self-discipline.
  • We retained modesty, decency and morality
  • We cared, share and were always fair.
  • We did not abuse others physically, mentally and emotionally.

We did not become addicted to wealth and fame so that the more we had, the more we wanted. In addition, we retained our equanimity when we lost our fame or wealth.

We used our wealth and fame to help others and to spread nobility and morality.
