Legion of Mary is one of the early Societies to be established in the Church. It was formed as an Ewe Praesidium under the name “Star of the Sea” Praesidium and they used to go to Derby Avenue for the Curia meeting. As the membership increased with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, the Ewe Praesidium was converted into an English Praesidium in 1985, under the same name-“Star of Sea” Praesidium. The Praesidium has since been directly attached to the “Mother of Divine Grace' Senatus based at the Holy Spirit Cathedral.
