LOCATION

The community lies on the left side when coming from Achimota town along the Golf Part to Legon near Kisseman and on the right when from Legon.

ACTIVITIES

i) Members of the community meet once a month to discuss ways of helping the Church grow. ii) We visit the sick and the aged and also delinquent members. We discuss the Word of God with them and offer our wisdom's mite. We also take active part in organization and celebration of funerals of deceased members. iii) The executive is in the process of helping members to register properly with the church.

CHALLENGES

I) Non-attendance of meetings. II) Problems of payment of dues and other contributions. III) The youth in the community are reluctant to participate in our programmes and activities. IV) Other worshippers in the community are not willing to join the group because of communication barrier.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The only Catholic institution within the pastoral jurisdiction of the Church is in the community – the Immaculate Heart of Mary Basic School. The establishment of this school in 1952 was master-minded by the following people; Messrs George Amuzu, Raphel K. Agbomadzi, Bernard Eklu, Teacher John Kwame Eklu, John Kodo and others.
