No matter what kind of a mess we have made of ourselves, Lent once again offers us an opportunity to leave our past behind and start again. We may have broken our last Lenten resolutions; but lovers’ quarrel is the renewal of love. So, lent invites us to begin again and renew. This is the wonderful thing about Christian life. It is a series of new beginnings. We can always start again. Like farmers who plant new seeds every new seeds every year, we are invited to sow deep within our hearts  seeds of  God’s words during Lent, to reap Easter fruits in abundance.
