God never overpowers any one with temptations. He allows them often to test our faithfulness to him. Hence temptations are only suggestions for us either to accept or to reject God’s friendship. In every temptation we are called upon to make a personal decision either for God or against him. To help us to choose God in our decisions, the grace of God is always available in Christ. Lent is the right time to take the right decisions. During this Lenten desert journey towards Easter, the word of God will challenge us to choose God and his ways above all else.
