Reflection
The highest honour in the church is not leadershipbut service. Jesus, today demands from his church leadership through service. The call to leadership through service is not addressed only to the clergy and to those who hold apostolic office in the church. All Christians are called to show leadership through service. People who do not seek to serve God and their fellow human beings cannot be Christians. We each have a duty to show the authenticity of the Christian message through our love and service. Service was one of the most striking signs of Christ’s own life. He wants the same from us.
