The journey of life is a path of decision making. The firmness of our decision lies however in persistence even when oppositions exist. Jeremiah and Jesus teach us today to be unwavering in our decisions and calling. It is a commitment to proclaiming God’s message despite the challenges. Only then can we present ourselves a living sacrifices to God.  Like the experience of Jeremiah and Jesus, opposition is most dreadful when it comes from within; even so when the opposition assumes it is for your benefit. Jesus teaches us to be firm in our resolve, unshaken by the supposed thoughtfulness of people. If your choice is right, then your journey will be fruitful. Hold on fast.
